Foundations of Everyday Leadership

Foundations of Everyday Leadership is 4 part online training taught by the University of Illinois and delivered online through Coursera. To kick off National Small Business Week, join us for an intimate conversation with one of Austin’s dynamic entrepreneurs, ABC Home and Commercial Services owner and CEO, Bobby Jenkins. Local KVUE news anchor and reporter, Jenni Lee, will open up discussions with Jenkins as he covers the journey of the original ABC Pest Control brand to its expansion as a full-service company with over 800 employees throughout the state. Jenkins attributes the growth of his business on great customer services, building trust, and leveraging those relationships.

Following the discussion, the 6th Annual City of Austin Small Business Awards will recognize entrepreneurial excellence in our community.

This is a two part class May 21-22, 2019.

Boots to Business Reboot provides assistance to those interested in exploring business ownership or other self-employment opportunities by leading them through the key steps for evaluating business concepts and providing foundational knowledge required to develop a business plan.
